The minutes of the March 2, 1908 meeting, demonstrate how many complex tasks faced the developers of the Plan of Chicago. In this one meeting they discussed renewing the lease on the rooftop space used to prepare the Plan, inviting railroad executives to a consideration of railway terminals, showing subscribers progress to date, locating a new post office and the civic center, preparing a diagram for the mayor of interurban or outlying roadways, and gathering support for widening Twelfth Street (Roosevelt Road). They also heard a report on how their plans affected the railroads.
